The Sunday Times has used WoodWing's Tablet publishing solution to further enhance their 'App' offering, creating a groundbreaking HTML5 based 'Web app' for the Royal Wedding.

03.03.2011 - ESCRS select MSL for WoodWing Enterprise Support and Automation

Dublin based ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons) select MSL to support and enhance their WoodWing Enterprise installation.

To enable increased automation, MSL has provided tailored InDesign scripts to take content directly from source and create/update layouts and pages directly into the WoodWing CMS. Such automation adds a layer of highly productive workflow to the existing system and can be re-used for further similar publications.

12.09.2010 - Design Agency M use MSL's WoodWing iPad solution for end-customer Sales & Marketing

In an innovative use of the WoodWing Digital publishing tools, M provided a purpose built App for their customer to use at a trade show in the UAE.

Their customer's on-stand Ambassadors were provided with iPads as their main sales aid, the App content being used to extol the virtues of various building projects in the region. This use of the system fully demonstrates the capability of the platform and its ability to deliver great results outside of the standard publishing arena.

12.12.2010 -Sunday Times Newspaper live on the iPad

Media Systems Ltd, UK based Gold partners of WoodWing Software, a leading international supplier of cross-media publishing solutions and an innovation leader in the tablet publishing market, announce today that The Sunday Times is creating its rich weekly iPad editions using WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools.

The Sunday Times is Britain's biggest and best-selling quality newspaper. Its iPad edition not only offers all 12 sections and the full content of the printed newspaper; it has also been extensively enriched with videos, images, interactive graphics and tables, shopping options and much more, leveraging the features available in WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools.

26.02.2010 - Media Systems attends Publishing Expo 2010

The Expo attracted thousands of publishing professionals and allowed MSL to showcase some of it's exciting new products like the Customer Control Centre and the new Order Module SOP Plug-ins for Forum.

The MSL and WoodWing teams were kept extremely busy on both exhibition days demonstrating and sharing ideas with both current customers and new prospects alike. Benefits like the seamless integration of customers and booking data along with the convenience of a "one stop shop" where publishing needs ranging from CRM, Planning and Editorial could all be met - proved to be key at the MSL stand.

24.01.2010 - TSL Education goes live with Forum SOP System

Times Supplements Limited (TSL) publishers of TES and other titles went live with a full installation of Forum SOP. This installation was for traditional print bookings and the full suite of Order bookings such as Exhibitions', Awards and Web Bookings. This installation was implemented using Citrix and was completed on time and on budget.

A full CRM implementation was also completed as part of this project, as was a full production system for ad (Admaker lite) make up and planning (MediaPlanner).


10.07.2009 - Irish Daily Star goes live with Smart Connection Enterprise

The Daily Star in Ireland has gone live with an implementation of WoodWing's Smart Connection Enterprise.

The system covers all editorial needs, ranging from tailored workflows between writers and designers through to PDF production. Integrated Wire feeds play an important role within the system too, with Content Station at the heart of the operation.

They now join the growing number of customers worldwide taking advantage of the efficiency gains to be had by using Smart Connection Enterprise.


04.06.2009 - Sunday Express goes live with Smart Connection Enterprise

The Sunday Express has gone live with an implementation of WoodWing's Smart Connection Enterprise.

Integrations with incoming sources such as the CMS/Archive, Wire and Picture Library ensured that there was a smooth transition from old technology to new. With the workflows directing activity between designers, writers and others, a highly efficient and productive operation was soon established.

They now join the others within the Express group and the growing number of customers worldwide taking advantage of the efficiency gains to be had by using Smart Connection Enterprise

03.01.2011 - SUNDAY TIMES iPad APP number one in world

WoodWing software is used to create more than 70% of the apps on the list.

The consulting and research company McPheters & Company has published its iMonitor list of best magazine and newspaper apps of 2010 with a ranking based on the iMonitor rating system. The iMonitor system scores each app based on its design, functionality, and use of rich content and is currently tracking more than 1,000 apps from over 40 countries.

No. 1 on the list is the app from The Sunday Times (UK), which is published on the iPad with WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools was installed and is supported by MSL.

Out of the 13 best apps of 2010, an impressive 10 were created with WoodWing's solution, including the apps of Project (UK), Fortune Magazine (USA), and Time Magazine (USA). This list also includes the app of the German daily Frankfurter Rundschau, which was also awarded with the European Newspaper Award in 2010.

New Survey Module

Media Systems have just released a new Survey module. The Survey module has been designed to allow businesses to create their own surveys which will enable them to track customer satisfaction providing a clearer picture of how you are perceived.

The Survey Module is fully integrated with the Advertising Soutions offered by Media Systems. It can also be used on its own as a standalone module or within the CRM system available from MSL.
